Introducing Maggie Beare

Maggie Beare discovered her artistic talent rather late in life, not having been previously exposed to painting through the normal routes of college, work or relatives. 

Maggie has struggled on to great success and acclaim producing numerous paintings despite sustaining a shattered ankle and broken leg leaving her in pot for 51 weeks, and a subsequent fall which left her with permanent damage to her left hand.

Contributing paintings to exhibitions at the Thoresby Gallery near Ollerton and the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield, Maggie regularly contributes paintings to the annual exhibitions for the Worksop Society of Artists and Sutton Art Group.

Maggie's paintings are produced in a variety of mediums including watercolour, acrylics, pastels and pen-work, and she relishes new ideas, challenges and commissions.

of art painted by Maggie, and are for sale at the price shown.

If you see a painting in the gallery that interests you, please contact Maggie and she will arrange a private viewing for you. Paintings are not for sale directly from the website as Maggie feels that you cannot begin to appreciate a painting unless you are standing in front of it.
